Energy for HubSpot

Connect HubSpot to Energy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Energy is an AI workspace where specialized assistants complete work across your browser, inbox, files, and connected tools. Connecting HubSpot lets an Energy assistant search and update the CRM records you already have access to, without leaving your conversation.

What the integration does

Once connected, you can ask Energy to:

  • Find contacts, companies, deals, and tickets.
  • Read and update CRM records you can already access.
  • Work with HubSpot content and marketing items when you ask it to.
  • Summarize activity and answer questions about your pipeline.

Energy acts on your instruction and with your own HubSpot permissions. It does not add records to a separate workspace, and it does not give another Energy user access to your HubSpot account.

Before you start

  • An Energy account. Download Energy from getenergy.com.
  • A HubSpot account where you can approve app connections. If your organization restricts app installs, ask a HubSpot super admin to approve the connection.

Install the integration

  1. Open Energy, select your account menu, then choose Connect Tools.
  2. Search for HubSpot.
  3. Open the HubSpot card and select Connect HubSpot.
  4. Your browser opens HubSpot. Sign in if asked, then choose the HubSpot account you want to connect.
  5. Review the permissions Energy requests. The full list is shown on this screen; the data access section below explains what each group covers.
  6. Select Connect app to finish. Energy returns to Connect Tools.

The HubSpot card now lists the connected account. Repeat the steps and choose Connect another account if you work across more than one HubSpot account.

Configure the integration

Open your account menu and choose Connect Tools, then open the HubSpot card. The card shows every connected HubSpot account and whether each one is working.

  • Add another account: select Connect another account, then approve the connection in HubSpot. Each account stays separate.
  • Reconnect an account: if the card says the connection needs authentication again, select the reconnect button next to that account and approve access in HubSpot once more.
  • Remove one account: select the remove button next to that account. Other connected accounts are not affected.

There is nothing else to configure. Energy does not copy HubSpot records into a separate store, so there are no field mappings, sync directions, or sync schedules to set up.

Use the integration

Start a conversation and ask for the work directly, for example “find the newest deals for Acme” or “update the phone number on this contact”. Energy will use your connected HubSpot account for the request and show you what it did.

You can also ask Energy to combine HubSpot with other connected tools, such as drafting a follow-up email from a deal record.

What data Energy can access

Energy asks for access to the HubSpot areas an assistant may need to complete your requests. During connection you see and approve the exact list. In broad terms it covers:

  • CRM records: contacts, companies, deals, tickets, notes, tasks, meetings, calls, products, line items, quotes, invoices, orders, carts, subscriptions, courses, appointments, listings, services, projects, marketing events, and emails. Most of these are read and write, so Energy can update records when you ask.
  • CRM structure: object schemas, segments, and lists, plus the ability to run HubSpot queries and read owners.
  • Content and marketing: landing pages and site pages, blog posts, marketing email, and marketing analytics, including the ability to create or edit content when you ask.
  • Conversations: read access to HubSpot conversations.
  • Your HubSpot user and team details: read access, used to show which account is connected.

Energy does not request HubSpot billing access. Access is limited to what the permissions you approve allow, and any Energy user still only reaches records their own HubSpot account can already open.

Disconnect a HubSpot account

  1. In Energy, open your account menu and choose Connect Tools.
  2. Open the HubSpot card.
  3. Next to the account, select the remove button.

Energy stops using the connection immediately. You can also revoke access from your HubSpot account settings by removing the Energy app from your connected apps.

Uninstall the integration

To remove Energy from your HubSpot account as well, a HubSpot super admin can uninstall it from HubSpot settings, following HubSpot’s instructions on connecting and uninstalling apps in HubSpot. Uninstalling in HubSpot ends the connection for that account immediately.

Disconnecting removes Energy’s access but keeps your HubSpot data and your Energy account. To remove all local copies of connected-account credentials, sign out of the account in Energy, or delete the Energy app and its data from your device.

Uninstalling does not delete HubSpot records that Energy created or updated at your request. Review those records in HubSpot before removing access.
