Privacy & Data Use
Users choose which services to connect and which actions to direct. Energy processes the content needed to carry out those actions, subject to authorized permissions and the applicable product configuration.
What Energy accesses
- For connected services, Energy may access relevant emails, files, calendar events, documents, spreadsheets, slides, and metadata necessary for the user-directed action.
- For browser work, Energy may process webpage text, links, and thread information necessary for the action.
- Energy does not capture screenshots or record the user’s screen as part of browser-page processing.
Energy’s role in processing
Energy may act as a processor or service provider for customer content, and as a controller for account, billing, website, marketing, and business-contact information.
Where data is processed
Core production services operate in Google Cloud in the United States.
Energy maintains data-management practices intended to support appropriate handling, protection, retention, and disposal of information.
Customer content and model improvement
Energy does not train AI models on your content, and your data is not sold or used for advertising.
Energy processes Customer Content to provide, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, as described in the applicable agreement and Privacy Notice.
Deletion and access requests
Energy processes deletion and access requests under its documented privacy procedures. The scope and timing of a request may depend on the data involved, legal requirements, backups, service providers, and the applicable agreement.
